Registered Massage Therapist
Kelly Hamilton is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), with an Honours B.Sc. in Kinesiology (the science of human movement) and a 2 year post-graduate diploma in massage therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She has also completed a 5 year diploma in Osteopathy from the Swiss International College of Osteopathy and will be working towards her thesis to complete her Diploma of Manual Practice in Osteopathy.
Kelly has extensive experience in therapeutic, medical and sports massage. She is trained in the techniques of deep tissue and fascial release, cranial sacral therapy, nueromuscular therapy, trigger point release and visceral manipulation. She has worked with world class and Olympic athletes in both performance enhancement and injury recovery. She has been actively pursuing her interest in education for understanding the human body and all of its interrelationships. She is very interested in treating the body as a whole to the underlying cause and not just the symptoms.
Kelly grew up in Toronto and has recently relocated to Squamish with her family. She has had the privilege of living and working throughout Canada, the US, Switzerland, and South Africa with her husband and two boys. She has enjoyed discovering and integrating into different cultures and countries and believes travelling give you a fantastic perspective on life. She loves the outdoors and is excited to be back to enjoy the mountains on bikes and skis.
